Holiday grief support: Marysville’s Mountain View Presbyterian Church plans a GriefShare “Surviving the Holidays” seminar 10 a.m.-noon Saturday to help people grieving the death of a loved one. The public is welcome. Workbooks are $4. GriefShare curriculum includes video interviews with grief experts, counselors and people who have experienced loss. Clothing drive: Bethesda Lutheran Church in Mountlake Terrace hosts a clothing drive for Clothes For Kids, a nonprofit group providing school clothes, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Needs include new and very gently used clothing, new socks, underwear, shoes and coats for kindergarten through high school students. Church is at 23406 56th Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace.

Holiday Bazaar: Everett’s Faith Lutheran Church plans its Holiday Bazaar 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday in its Fellowship Hall. There will be handmade items, baked goods, a silent auction table and lunch for purchase. Proceeds benefit South Everett Neighborhood Center, Bethany of the Northwest, Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County, Lutheran World Hunger, and Hands for Peacemaking Foundation. Bazaar in Startup: Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church hosts its annual Fall Bazaar 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. There will be Christmas items, handcrafted gifts, card and jewelry making, a bake sale, and for purchase a sloppy-joe lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Church is at 36817 143rd Pl. SE, Startup. 360-793-0534.

Bazaar in Snohomish: The Bridge Church plans its first Holiday Craft Bazaar 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. Handmade gifts and baked goods for sale, and Bridge Brew latte stand will be open. Church is at 2500 Lake Ave., Snohomish.

A Holiday Fair: Holy Rosary Women’s Association hosts A Holiday Fair, with baked goods, handcrafted gifts, household items, holiday decorations and raffle items, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m.-noon Sunday in the Holy Rosary School Gym, 770 Aloha St., Edmonds.

College concert: Everett’s Trinity Lutheran College Music Department will present “Song of Luke,” a concert celebrating peace, at 2 p.m. Saturday in the S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium at Benaroya Hall, 200 University St., Seattle. Program features Cascade Youth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Gerry Jon Marsh, and Trinity Lutheran College Invitational Chorus, directed by Stephen MarshallWard, the college music department chairman. Anniversary service: Marysville United Methodist Church celebrates 125 years Sunday with special services at 9 and 10:45 a.m. The bell that will ring to gather the people is the same bell heard when the church building was dedicated in August 1891. Church is at 5600 64th St. NE. 360-659-8521.

Community Thanksgiving Dinner: Westgate Chapel in Edmonds invites the community to a free Thanksgiving dinner Thursday, with seatings at 11 a.m., 1:30 and 3 p.m. Event includes a traditional homemade turkey dinner, children’s crafts and gifts, family photos, and a food and clothing bank. First 150 children at 11 a.m. seating have chance to win a Kindle Fire. Drawings for Toys R Us gift certificates and prizes at all seatings. Westgate Chapel is at 22901 Edmonds Way. Community Thanksgiving Feast: Edmonds Lutheran Church starts its Thanksgiving week celebrations with a free Community Thanksgiving Feast 5 p.m. Wednesday. Roasted turkey, homemade mashed potatoes, pie and coffee. A brief ecumenical Thanksgiving eve service follows at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary; a Thanksgiving service will be held at 10 a.m. Church is at 23525 84th Ave. W., Edmonds. 425-744-8090.

Community prayer: A short community prayer gathering will be at 12:45 p.m. Nov. 25, Dec. 30 and the last Sunday of each month at the Legion Memorial Park gazebo, 114 N. Olympic Ave., downtown Arlington. There will be prayer for families, young people, and against the use of illegal drugs, alcohol and violence. Unity series: The Rev. Juan Enrique Toro, of Everett’s Unity Center for Positive Living, presents a Sunday series titled “Living Abundance.” The aim is to focus on an inner-directed life of peace and fulfillment. Meals in Everett: Gold Creek Community Church hosts a free hot meal and provides sack lunches, 5-6 p.m. the first, third and fifth Sunday of every month in the parking lot of Central Lutheran Church, 2702 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Clothes available some days.

Salt of the Earth Soup Kitchen: noon Tuesdays at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Free sack lunches or hot meals served to the homeless, low-income seniors and families, and kids on the street. Volunteers needed to help cook, set up, serve and clean up.
