Blessing of the Pets, Marysville: St. Philip’s Episcopal Church holds a blessing of the animals on its front lawn, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, and from 1-2:30 p.m. at Jones and Company Pet Store, 1340 State Ave. Treats for humans and adults, and a card to remember the blessing. Meals, clothes, dental: Gold Creek Community Church provides a free hot meal and sack lunches, 5-6 p.m. the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month at Central Lutheran Church, 2702 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Clothes available some days. Qualified people can sign up for free urgent dental care from a dental van that comes monthly. Ask Jessica for details and how to sign up.

Salt of the Earth: Soup kitchen is open at noon Tuesdays at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Free sack lunches or hot meals served to the homeless, low-income seniors and families, and kids on the street. Volunteers needed. More info: Sandra, 425-355-1042.
