Blessing of the Pets, Marysville: St. Philip’s Episcopal Church holds a blessing of the animals on its front lawn, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, and from 1-2:30 p.m. at Jones and Company Pet Store, 1340 State Ave. Treats for humans and adults, and a card to remember the blessing. Mission breakfast: The Everett Gospel Mission holds its annual community breakfast, 7:30-9 a.m. Oct. 8 at the convention center at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett. Admission is free. Loaves and Fishes: A free community supper is offered 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays at Sultan Community United Methodist Church, 212 Birch St., Sultan.

Community meals: 5-6:30 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (Oct. 8 and 22) at Faith Lutheran Church, 6708 Cady Road, Everett. Free warm clothing also available. A representative from Molina Healthcare will be there to discuss health care coverage issues if needed. All are invited.

The Cove: A free breakfast and take-out lunch, 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays at First Covenant Church, 4502 Rucker Ave., Everett. More info: 425-252-9191.

Meals, clothes, dental: Gold Creek Community Church provides a free hot meal and sack lunches, 5-6 p.m. the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month at Central Lutheran Church, 2702 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Clothes available some days. Qualified people can sign up for free urgent dental care from a dental van that comes monthly. Ask Jessica for details and how to sign up.

Salt of the Earth: Soup kitchen is open at noon Tuesdays at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Free sack lunches or hot meals served to the homeless, low-income seniors and families, and kids on the street. Volunteers needed. More info: Sandra, 425-355-1042.
