STANWOOD — A young man died early Saturday after he was struck by a car while walking along a north Snohomish County road.
The incident was reported at about 3:30 a.m. along 156th Street NW near Lake View Avenue at Lake Goodwin, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reported.
A woman, 20, thought she had struck an animal. She drove home, told her parents, and her parents returned to the scene. They found the man’s body and called 911, sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
Few details were immediately available about the man, who appears to be between 18 and 25. No arrests or citations have been issued, and the incident is under investigation, Hover said.
