SNOHOMISH — Red Cross volunteers offered help Saturday morning after flames destroyed a couple’s home.
Firefighters responded to an early-morning fire that sparked at a house in the 11900 block of 197th Street SE, said Kris Krischano, spokesman for the Snohomish County Chapter of American Red Cross.
Volunteers were called to the scene about 4:30 a.m. and provided the couple with vouchers for food and clothing, Krischano said.
The homeowners also have a motor home on the property, where they would be staying for now, Krischano said.
