SPOKANE — A United flight from Chicago to Portland made an unscheduled landing Wednesday night in Spokane where passengers had to spend the night.
KXLY reports the plane had made a routine stop for refueling at Spokane International Airport. But after it took off the pilot noticed a problem with hydraulics and decided to turn around.
Emergency crews were on hand as a precaution. The plane landed safely.
It wasn’t easy to find another flight to Portland. KXLY reports the stranded passengers are leaving at 11:30 a.m.
