SEATTLE — A foot of new snow is expected Friday in the Olympics and Washington Cascades from a storm moving through the state.
The National Weather Service says the freezing level will fall to about 1,000 feet by Friday afternoon, making snow showers possible in the Cascade foothills.
Forecasters say the cool, rainy-snowy weather will continue into next week across the state.
