Party tonight with Latinos Unidos
Latinos Unidos hosts a Valentines dinner and dance at 6 tonight at the East County Senior Center, 824 Village Way in Monroe.
Dinner costs $5 for traditional posole. There will be dancing after dinner.
Stamp act: A Sno-King Stamp Show is planned for Sunday in Everett.
There will be a youth stamp table, information about postal history, a silent auction, a U.S. Postal Service station and exhibits.
It’s planned for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Boys &Girls Club, 2316 12th St. in Everett.
It’s sponsored by the Sno-King Stamp Club.
Pioneer stories: Author Frances Wood will share stories about her great-grandmother, Nina Blackman Bakeman on Sunday.
Bakeman lived in the historic Blackman home in Snohomish.
Wood’s talk is planned for 3 p.m. at the Blackman House, 118 Ave. B. Please leave a $5 donation.
100 days, 100 coats: Everett Christian School is having a coat drive to mark the 100th day of school on Feb 18.
They are collecting at least 100 gently used or new coats in all styles and sizes for foster children in Washington.
There is a community box in the hallway ready for any donations at 2221 Cedar St. in Everett.
