Sew Thoughtful: This month’s charitable project by the Snohomish County Clothing and Textile Advisors will be sewing walker bags for Group Health rehabilitation patients, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 16 in the Cougar classroom behind the WSU Extension office at McCollum Park near Everett. Family holiday party: A family holiday party is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Molina Medical Clinic, 15 SW Everett Mall Way in Everett. Family photos will be provided free to the first 100 families attending the event. The photos will be printed on site. Attendees also can enjoy free hot beverages, receive free stockings and stocking stuffers and participate in raffles to win prizes.
Donate clothes: SNOPAC, the 911 center based in south Everett, is accepting donations for Clothes for Kids, which provides low-income children with school wardrobes. Donations are accepted during normal business hours throughout December at SNOPAC, 1121 SE Everett Mall Way. Needed items include new and gently used pants, shirts, shoes, coats and pajamas in child and teen sizes, as well as new underwear, socks, toothbrushes and toiletries, including travel size items.
