Opioid epidemic focus of upcoming library events

Sno-Isle Libraries will host “Behind the Scenes of ‘Finding Fixes’: The Search for Solutions to the Opioid Epidemic” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Sno-Isle Service Center, 7312 35th Ave. NE, Marysville. EdCC to recognize WWI veterans

Edmonds Community College hosts its annual Veterans Day Celebration, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the Black Box Theatre in Mukilteo Hall on the college campus.

Veterans from surrounding communities who served during times of war and peace are invited to attend. There will be a special tribute to World War I veterans on the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day. U.S. Navy veteran Jim Blossey will be the master of ceremonies.
