Twin City Idlers 9th annual Classic, Antique and Custom Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show is planned for Stanwood.
See rigs downtown from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. A controlled cruise begins at 7 p.m. tonight.
Show organizers expect to see more than 500 vehi
cles registered for Sunday’s event.
Food and crafts also are available for sale, from Stanwood Middle School, 9405 271st St. NW, east to the railroad tracks.

Skate for a cause: Roller-skate from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Everett Skate Deck, 9700 19th Ave. SE, and make a donation for Nubian Jam scholarships. Get a scholarship: The Greater Everett Community Foundation will provide a scholarship to a a person interested in participating in the Leadership Snohomish County program.
The Signature Leadership Class is about developing leadership skills to tackle community challenges. Alumni serve the community in a variety of ways.
“Strong leadership is essential in our community,” said Maddy Metzger-Utt, president of the Greater Everett Community Foundation. “While we spent our first 10 years giving away grants, we hope to spend the next 10 also helping to build the leadership and effectiveness of the nonprofit sector.”
