Dedication of Oso memorial benches
Two benches are to be installed at Arlington’s Haller Park in memory of the 43 people who died in the Oso mudslide. The reflection benches were donated by the employees of the Tulalip Cabela’s, who raised $40,000 for the Snohomish County Red Cross Oso Fund along with the $5,000 needed to purchase and install the benches.
The benches are to be dedicated at 2 p.m. Saturday in Haller Park, 1100 West Ave. The event is open to the public. For more information, call 360-474-4880 or go to www.cabelas.com/tulalip.
