Front Porch: Get your name in the sky with 12th Man

Fly with 12th ManPEMCO Insurance has commissioned a 40-by-100-foot 12th Man banner that will be towed by an airplane circling the Super Bowl in East Rutherford, N.J., on Saturday and Sunday. Seattle Seahawks fans in Snohomish County who want to sign the banner can do so today from 5 to 8 p.m. at McClain Insurance Services, 10410 19th Ave SE in South Everett. Signers will have a chance to win a signed Doug Baldwin jersey.

Help for grant-seekers: Nonprofit organizations and other grant seekers in Snohomish and Island counties now have access to resources to help them find funding. Sno-Isle Libraries recently became a Funding Information Network partner with the Foundation Center and selected the Marysville Library to offer this free service.

The collection provides details on grant providers, application information and strategies for securing grants. Print directories, proposal writing guides and books on nonprofit management and philanthropy are also available.

The Marysville Library will hold training sessions on how to use the resources. The next session is at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 11 at the library, 6120 Grove St.
