Spaghetti lunch
A spaghetti luncheon fundraiser for Packs For Kids is scheduled from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo. Suggested donation is $10; $5 for kids. Packs For Kids provides weekend food packs for students in the Mukilteo School District.
Stanwood Democrats: Democrats are invited to a meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Stanwood Community and Senior Center, 7430 276th St. NW. Guest speaker Snohomish County Sheriff Ty Trenary will discuss public safety.
Learn CPR: Free CPR training is planned for April 13 at Edmonds Community College. There are four sessions in the afternoon and evening, including one in Spanish. Hosts are Premera Blue Cross and the American Red Cross. Register at tinyurl.com/EdmondsCPR0417 or 425-740-2323.
Rain garden workshops: The city of Everett plans free hour-long workshops on installing rain gardens, which help reduce stormwater runoff, flooding and water pollution. The city offers $2,500 rebates to residents who install an approved rain garden. The workshops are scheduled from 10-11 a.m. March 18 at the Everett Public Works building, 3200 Cedar St., and from 7-8 p.m. March 23 at Eisenhower Middle School, 10200 25th Ave. SE.
