Music on the Lake: The Lake Stevens Arts Commission is set to kick off its Music on the Lake free concert series at 7 p.m. Thursday at North Cove Park.
The first performance will be a Shakespeare in the Park production of “Much Ado About Nothing.” There will be musical performances every following Thursday through Aug. 7, except July 24. The line-up includes blues, swing, folk and rock tunes.
Jetty Island ferry: The ferry departs seven days a week from the Jetty Landing &Boat Launch at 10th and W. Marine View Dr. on Everett’s waterfront.
Hours of operation are: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
Pick up boarding passes for the next available ferry at the kiosk by the flagpole. Pick up return boarding passes on the island side.
Suggested donation is $2 for adults, $1 for kids.
On sunny days the ferry wait time can be 1-2 hours. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended. Everett residents can make a reservation at least 48 hours in advance by calling 425-257-8304, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Reservations are accepted on Saturdays and Sundays, but assistance is limited due to many weekend visitors.
Non-Everett residents must have eight people in their group to reserve a spot on the ferry.
