Exchange your flags
A service organization that represents current and former enlisted members of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard will exchange 100 new 3-by-5-foot nylon American flags for unserviceable American flags.
Fleet Reserve Association Branch 170 of Everett
will exchange the flags at 9 a.m. Saturday at its home, 6802 Beverly Blvd. in Everett. The event ends when the flags are gone or at 1 p.m.
A flag that is faded or torn is considered to be unserviceable. There is no charge.
Members will also collect all unserviceable American flags for proper disposal, too.
