Share your Silvertips memories

The Everett Silvertips open their 10th season in the Western Hockey League next week, and we know there are die-hard, cowbell-ringing fans out there who have been with the team since the start.

We want you to share your favorite Tips memories with us. Was it the marriage proposal made at center ice? Or maybe a highlight-reel goal by Zach Hamill or Peter Mueller? We’ll publish your stories on the front page of The Herald on Sept. 23.

Looking for a lofty getaway? Spend the night in the 5,587-foot-high Evergreen Mountain Lookout in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.

You’ll need to bring your own bed, food and water, but on a clear day you’ll be treated with views of Glacier Peak.
