Death row inmate information sought
Terry Jess Dennis, 57, a Nevada death row inmate who will die by lethal injection Thursday for killing a woman in Reno, had a couple of brushes with the law here in the 1970s and 1980s.
Brendan Riley, an Associated Press writer in Nevada, would like information about the Dennis family, who lived in the Lynnwood area about 40 years ago. The convict’s parents were murdered or died in an accident in the Lynnwood area when Terry Dennis was a teenager.
Does anyone remember the Dennis family? If so, please call 425-339-3451 and we’ll forward your information.

Corrections
* A new interactive exhibit under construction at the Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett is called the Ball Wall. A caption on Page A1 Wednesday misidentified the exhibit.
* It was officials of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration who observed that sonar-induced whale strandings typically involve a number of species. A Washington Post article on Page A1 Sunday incorrectly attributed the information to a Navy spokesman.
* The Stanwood Senior Center is giving away raffle tickets with the purchase of bingo cards throughout the month for $100 prize drawings on July 25 and July 29. An Our Towns item on Page B3 on Thursday was incorrect in the number of drawings.
