Disabled riders may join the parade
All Aboard, a nonprofit group that offers education and activities for disabled adults, is looking for people who’d like to ride adult-sized-tricycles in Everett’s Fourth of July Parade.
Ride the three-wheeled bikes with Special Olympics and the All Aboard bus in the parade.

Driving program in Stanwood
Driving it Home, a class for newly licensed drivers and their families, is 9 a.m. Saturday at Stanwood High School’s Performing Arts Center. The class is sponsored by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The three-hour presentation includes testimony from deputies who have investigated fatal collisions and relatives of people who have been killed in crashes.
They’ll also stage an accident outdoors.
Quarry meeting tonight in Everett
Four Everett neighborhood associations meet at 6:30 tonight at Evergreen Middle School, 7621 Beverly Lane, to talk about proposed zoning changes that could pave the way for a multifamily housing development with up to 2,150 units.
Cemex, formerly Rinker Materials, hopes to transform industrial land at its quarry at 6300 Glenwood Ave. into a residential and commercial development.

The feed is on the Web site of Sierra Construction Company, which is building the new city hall on the northwest corner of Harbour Pointe Boulevard and Cyrus Way and the Everett hangar at Paine Field.
