Register to vote by Friday for election
The deadline is looming to register to vote, or for current voters to change their mailing addresses, in time for the Nov. 6 general election.
Friday is the last day to register at the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office, transfer registration within the state and update a registration address.
To change a registration by mail, voters must postmark their forms by Saturday. The form is online, as well as an online address update for voters who have a Washington state driver’s license.
Go online to the state’s Web site at www.secstate.wa.gov/ elections and click “voter registration lookup (MyVote).”
Snohomish County elections officials in the auditor’s office can be reached at 425-388-3444. Offices are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at the county courthouse campus, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.
