Mill Creek seeks salmon watchers
Those who want to learn to be salmon watchers can attend a meeting planned next week at Mill Creek City Hall.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday in the City Council chambers at 15728 Main St.
Salmon watchers are volunteers who monitor salmon migration. Volunteers each choose a site, then monitor their sites twice a week for 15 minutes at a time.
This year’s watch season is from Sept. 22 to Dec. 31. No prior experience is needed.
