A health fair is planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Arlington High School Commons, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd., Arlington.
The Take Time for Health Fair is presented by Cascade Valley Hospital and Clinics, with health seminars to address issues such as sleep disorders, cataract surgery and diabetes. The fair also provides 18 health checks and screenings.
Kayla Burt, an Arlington High School graduate and a former University of Washington basketball player, is scheduled to speak. A bloodmobile will be on site for people who wish to give blood.
An auction to benefit the Silvana Community Fair is planned for 5:30 p.m. today at Viking Hall, 1331 Pioneer Highway, Silvana. A live auction follows at 6. Admission is free.
The Grandview Community Center has scheduled a Celtic dinner show for tonight at 11506 Smokes Road.
Celtic music by Cantabile Ensemble is planned for 6 p.m., with dinner at 6:30. The menu includes Irish stew, baked potatoes, shepherd’s pie, corned beef and cabbage.
This event is the center’s major fundraiser. A donation of $10 is suggested.
The Stillaguamish Valley Pioneers plan to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their museum with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. today at 20722 67th Ave. NE, Arlington. The group plans to serve cake, coffee and punch.
