Volunteer hosts are needed at some popular and busy federal campgrounds in Eastern Washington for the summer season.
Hosts should have a good attitude and an interest in the outdoors, as well as enjoy being around people, since visitors will be seeking advice about places to go, where to find services and how to solve problems.
Volunteer hosts perform light maintenance duties, such as cleaning restrooms. They work at least two months between May 15 and Sept. 15.
There is no salary, but hosts get a free campsite and the necessary tools and supplies to perform their jobs.
