Why do we garden? For the fresh vegetables. For the fun flowers. For the enjoyment of being outside and playing in the dirt.
Also? It turns out we should garden because it’s good for your sexual health.
A study in a European journal found that about 30 minutes of gardening a week gave men several advantages in bed, and not just the garden bed.
To be fair, the study found the same benefits from other forms of exercise. But other forms of exercise don’t provide you with tasty vegetables or fresh fruit for your effort. So I’m going to say (with no science, just my convicitons) that vegetable gardening is even better for you, because it improves how you eat. (On a slightly unrelated, but entertaining, note food can be really sexy, too.)
Gardeners always knew gardening was sexy. Now we have science to back us up.
