Girlfriend arrested in man’s death in White Swan

WHITE SWAN — Yakima County sheriff’s deputies have arrested the girlfriend of a White Swan man who was stabbed to death.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reported Gabriel Paul, 27, died Wednesday night at a Yakima hospital from a wound to his neck. He was a member of the Colville tribe.

Paul and his girlfriend had been staying at a White Swan home where Yakama tribal police were called. Police and the FBI turned the case over to the sheriff’s office, and detectives arrested the 30-year-old girlfriend on Thursday for investigation of homicide.
