WALLA WALLA — Staff, students and parents are mourning after a pickup truck struck and killed a Walla Walla High School drama teacher.
The school district reports that teacher Brian Senter was killed Saturday night. The Walla Walla Sheriff’s Office is investigating, but The Tri-City Herald reported that the pickup’s driver remained at the scene and was cooperative at the scene. Investigators said he showed no signs of drug or alcohol impairment and passed a breath test.
A student vigil was planned for Sunday night.
