Navy Seaman Emily Rose Howell graduated Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, on May 23. She is the daughter of Marvin and Suzanne Howell of Snohomish and is a 2013 graduate of Snohomish High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Colton M. Rintala graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Rintala earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Maureen and David Rintala of Snohomish. The airman is a 2008 graduate of Monroe High School. He earned an bachelor’s degree in 2012 from Western Washington University.

Khrystian T. Clark has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army after successfully completing the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program and graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon. The new officer will be assigned to a specific corps in the Army to serve on active duty or in the National Guard or Army Reserve. Clark is a 2010 graduate of Kamiak High School

U.S. Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Alexander R. Hart graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Hart is the son of Edward Paz of Lynnwood and Rhonda Hart of Lynnville, Tennessee.
