Navy Reserve Chief Petty Officer Jerry Dotson of Everett, who is assigned to the Navy Operational Support Center Everett, was honored March 1 during a ceremony commemorating the Navy Reserve’s 98th anniversary. Building on the Navy Memorial 2013 theme, “Year of the Chief,” this year’s ceremony honored select chief petty officers for their noteworthy leadership accomplishments. Dotson was selected by Naval Station Everett Command to serve as the greater Northwest training chairman for Chief Petty Officer 365, a yearlong training and subordinate development program which provided training to 253 petty officers 1st Class.
