SEATTLE — An Alaska Airlines spokeswoman says an Internet connectivity problem temporarily delayed 22 departing flights Thursday night.
Spokeswoman Nancy Trott said the problem delayed the flights by as much as an hour. It was resolved by 11:20 p.m.
The issue affected many of the airline’s internal computer systems. Trott says check-ins were affected and the airline couldn’t process transactions.
Arriving flights were not affected.
Alaska Air Group serves 104 destinations with 880 daily departures in the United States, Mexico and Canada. That includes 45 markets served by Horizon Air.
