“Elementary School”
When I look back and think of the best time I had in my 13 years of school, the first thing that comes to mind is playing 4 square, wall-ball, swinging on the monkey bars, and beating all the boys in chicken. Recess was the best! I feel like if we had continued these elementary school traditions in high school, we would be just as happy as we are right now at graduation. Some of you have known each other since 1st grade, maybe you were even best friends at one point. Now you are graduating, and are about to start a whole new chapter of your life, with your old neighborhood friends by your side.
Elementary school taught us the core values and morals that we follow today. It taught us the difference between right and wrong; share the crayons and help those less fortunate than you. Though this may have been a bit of a struggle for us in the beginning of middle school, after various life lessons, lost friendships, and trips to the power room, we learned how to treat people the right way.Yeah, most of us are 18, we’re adults, but that doesn’t mean we’re “too old” play a game of 4 square after this.
