SEATTLE — A King County deputy who had been investigated in connection with convicted Deputy Darrion Holiwell has quit.
King County Sheriff John Urquhart told The Seattle Times that Deputy Chris Kahrs resigned on Monday, one day before a disciplinary hearing.
Kahrs is a 17-year veteran who worked at the firearms range with Holiwell.
Holiwell was sentenced last summer to more than a year in prison after pleading guilty to promoting his wife’s prostitution, stealing department ammunition and delivering testosterone.
