SEATTLE — A King County deputy was seriously injured in a crash in his patrol car as he was on his way to assist another deputy in Shoreline.
KOMO-TV reported that late Monday night crash sent the deputy to Harborview Medical Center.
He was driving with his lights and siren activated and was about two minutes away from his destination when he lost control of his patrol car, crashing into an embankment and fire hydrant.
King County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Cindi West says the injured deputy is 28 years old and has been with the Sheriff’s Office for about a year and a half. He is listed in serious but stable condition.
