Lynnwood teen missing since Friday found alive

She left her home on Madison Way and never showed up for school. She may have run away.

UPDATE, 5 p.m. Wednesday: The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies found the girl Wednesday afternoon and that she is now home safe. No other information was immediately available.

LYNNWOOD — Police are looking for a missing 13-year-old Lynnwood girl who might have run away.

Jayla Mitchell was last seen around 7 a.m. Friday leaving her home on Madison Way, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said. She did not arrive at school that day.

Anyone with information about her location may call 911.
