Man arrested after discovered sleeping in car

SNOHOMISH — A man was arrested Wednesday after he broke into a car in Snohomish and fell asleep.

The man, who appeared to be in his early 30s, got into a car around 4:30 a.m. near Fifth Street and Avenue A, Snohomish police Cmdr. George Perillo said.

The car’s owner found the man napping inside the vehicle and called police, Perillo said.

The man was arrested and taken to a place where he will get all the rest he wants.

He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of second-degree vehicle prowling and drug possession.
