SEATTLE (AP) — King County prosecutors have filed charges of second-degree murder and second-degree assault for an April 13 shooting in the parking lot of a restaurant in Tukwila.
One man died and another was wounded in gunfire outside the restaurant, where a party had been held for the authors of a biography on rap artist and producer Dr. Dre.
Lovelychild James Manuel is in jail on $1 million bail. Manuel is scheduled to be arraigned on May 8 at the Norm Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent.
If convicted as charged, the sentence range is 23 to 32 years in prison.
A 24-year-old Renton man died after being taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. A 24-year-old Skyway man was wounded.
