Man critically hurt in crash near Sultan

SULTAN — A man was critically injured Tuesday night after a car crash west of Sultan.

The crash was reportedly roughly around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Florence Acres Road and Woods Lake Road.

It appears the car drove into a cement pillar near the intersection, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said. The passenger in the car was taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The driver didn’t appear to be injured, Hover said.

The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office. No more details were available Tuesday.
