EVERETT — Autopsy results released Tuesday reveal that someone had killed a man found dead inside a south Everett storage unit.

Eric C. Adams, 52, had been living inside the unit on the 13000 block of Fourth Avenue West, according to a friend. He had been missing for weeks, the friend said. Authorities characterized his death as suspicious after his body was discovered Thursday.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office said he died from “homicidal violence.”

Sheriff’s detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are investigating.
