EVERETT — A man in his 20s was injured Saturday night in a hit-and-run collision south of Everett, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The crash occurred around 9:50 p.m. as the man was walking at the intersection of 128th Street and 8th Avenue West. He was initially taken to a local hospital, then transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment, Lt. Todd Swenson said.

Further information about the man’s condition was unavailable Sunday.

Deputies were searching for a large, black sport utility vehicle that left the scene, Swenson said.
