Man kills ex-girlfriend, himself in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM — A man has apparently killed his ex-girlfriend and himself in Bellingham.

Police say neighbors heard a woman screaming and at least five shots fired this morning at a house.

The Bellingham Herald reports the woman was taken to St. Joseph Hospital where she died.

The man went to a relative’s house but fled out the back door when officers arrived. He was later found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and pronounced dead at the scene.
