Man pilfers Marysville Kmart jewelry display

MARYSVILLE — Police are looking for a man who stole a case full of jewelry from a Marysville Kmart on Tuesday.

Sometime between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., a man took a rotating display case with $6,000 worth of jewelry inside from the store in the 9600 block of State Avenue, Marysville police Cmdr. Ralph Krusey said.

A similar theft was reported at a Kmart in Seattle. It’s not clear if the two cases are connected.

Anyone with information is asked to call Marysville police at 360-363-8300.
