LYNNWOOD — A man was taken to a hospital Sunday after shooting himself in the groin area.
Medics were summoned about noon to Lowe’s Home Improvement store in the 3100 block of 196th Street SW, according to the Lynnwood Fire Department.
The man was injured when a gun he was carrying in his waistband discharged, apparently by accident. He was wounded in the testicles and also in his leg and foot. Nobody else in the store was hurt.
The man’s condition was not known Monday.
