SPOKANE — Spokane police are investigating whether a medical marijuana grower was justified in shooting a man she says was trying to steal part of her backyard crop.
The man was found two hours later Monday with a head wound. Police say a second man also may have been wounded, but he was not found.
The Spokesman-Review reports the woman has a medical marijuana authorization, but police are checking for any drug violations.
