EVERETT – Police are searching for two men who held up a pawn shop earlier this morning.
The men, armed with guns, robbed the business just before 11 a.m. in the 12000 block of Highway 99. One man was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with dollar signs on it. The other man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Both men wore black pants. The men are believed to be black, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and between 18 and 35.
Police recovered one gun. It had been reported stolen from Mukilteo. They’ve also recovered some stolen property from the pawn shop.
Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies and Everett police officers have surrounded the area to search for the men. Specially-trained police dogs also are hunting for the suspects.
Anyone who sees anything suspicious in the area is asked to call 911.
