Sen. John McCain, the leading Republican nominee for president, will be in Seattle Friday evening.
His campaign announced today he will do a “meet and greet” at 6 p.m. at the Westin Hotel.
Until today, McCain supporters had been saying the Arizona senator would campaign in Washington after the caucuses and before the Feb. 19 primary.
Mitt Romney’s decision to withdraw from the race should help McCain pick up a few more delegates than originally anticipated.
