ARLINGTON — A flood warning remains in effect today for the Stillaguamish River.
Heavy rains sent the river above flood stage early this morning, according to river gauges.
Forecasters expect the river to recede this afternoon.
The river is expected to cause minor flooding in Silvana and water may cover the Pioneer Highway, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle.
Rain stays in the forecast and the next threat of flooding will come late Wednesday through Friday.
Thanksgiving week doesn’t look much better. The weather pattern is expected to continue to bring one storm after the next.
