SWEET HOME, Ore. — A mushroom picker reported missing in Linn County has been found unharmed.
The Oregonian reported that Jason Lee Key was located at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday about a half mile from where he was last seen.
Sheriff Bruce Riley said Key was last spotted Wednesday afternoon in a heavily wooded area in Sweet Home. Authorities said the 38-year-old Lebanon resident had hiked approximately 400 feet down some rough terrain.
A fellow mushroom picker who called 9-1-1 said Key had a flashlight and a lighter, but no cellphone.
Forty-five people participated in the search.
