MUKILTEO — Firefighters using ropes, harnesses and other tools were able to rescue a 13-year-old boy who became stuck on a steep cliff Tuesday night, according to a Mukilteo Fire Department memo.
The boy was climbing the cliff in the 4600 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard when be became stuck 30 to 40 feet up. He couldn’t go up or down.
A low-angle technical rescue was made.
Snohomish County Fire District 1 and Mukilteo police assisted.
Fifteen firefighters responded to the call, which came in shortly after 7:30 p.m.
No one was injured.
