EVERETT — A residential fire in Mukilteo required 24 firefighters from four agencies to extinguish Monday evening in Mukilteo.
Around 10:52 p.m. Monday, Mukilteo firefighters responded to reports of a residential fire in the 5900 block of 117th Place Southwest, said Mukilteo Fire Department Chief Glen Albright.
Neighbors notified the two residents of the fire and helped them evacuate, Albright said. No injuries were reported.
Crews extinguished the fire after an hour, Albright said. The last unit left the scene six hours later due to fire watch protocols.
According to Albright, the Snohomish County Fire Marshal said the cause of the fire is under investigation and is believed to be unintentional.
