MUKILTEO — The Mukilteo School Board is searching for a new school board member after Anna Rice’s recent resignation from the board.
Rice left the board because of health problems, said Andy Muntz, spokesman for the Mukilteo School District.
Interested candidates must live within Dire
ctor District 5 and be a registered voter. Applications must be submitted before 4 p.m. on Sept. 6.
Applicants are asked to provide a letter of interest and resume. They should be sent to the Mukilteo School District Superintendent’s Office, at 9401 Sharon Drive, Everett, WA 98204.
Director District 5 generally covers the southeast portion of the school district.
The rough boundary includes the area south of Airport Road and 128th St., east of Beverly Park Road, north of 148th St S.W. and west of Seventh St. S.E.
The person selected to fill Rice’s seat on the board will serve until an election is held in November 2013.
