Near-naked female driver arrested for DUI in Pierce County

TACOMA — A 22-year-old woman accused of driving the wrong way on a highway and speeding away from officers while wearing only a bra has appeared in court — wearing a jail uniform.

KOMO-TV reported that Breyana Gallagher of University Place was arrested Saturday for investigation of eluding and DUI. She pleaded not guilty Monday. A judge released her on electronic home monitoring.

It was not known late Monday whether she had a lawyer.

Police in Fife say the driver was headed the wrong way on State Highway 509, swerved in and out of traffic and ran a red light. Officers finally bumped her car to stop it.
