PULLMAN — A new residence hall at Washington State University is popular.
The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports more than 500 students have requested rooms in the new dorm that has space for 230 students. Room assignments for fall semester go out Saturday.
The five-story, $26 million building opening in August is the first new residence hall on the WSU campus since 1971. Features include wireless Internet and a large lounge with a fireplace.
WSU housing director Bob Tattershall says it will cost students $10,618 a year to live in a double room with the most common meal plan.
